Christmas Fun

Christmas morning Mommy gave us each a new toy! I got Morey the Moose!



But I decided I liked Ben's toy more! So I "killed" both of them.



Poor Ben, he sat on the bed and pouted when I took his toy. I just couldn't control myself!





Molly pouted, too. But she's always doing that!




Luckily, Aunt Erin brought us MORE toys! And Fiona and Lola! They came to stay at our house for 5 days!





I took my toys into the other room because I obviously don't like sharing!




Ellie REALLY liked the bones. It's been permanently attached to her face since Christmas Day!

After toy time, Mom decided to bake us some homemade dog treats!

Of course we ALL wanted to help!

Lola even helped herself to the dough on the counter!

We had to wait until they were done baking! It took FOREVER!

So Mom snuck us a few taste tests...

Yum! Ben approved!

So did Lola!

This is the final product! They are delicious. I even let Mommy package some up to share with our other dog friend's at Aunt Jordan's house. And we sent some home with Lola and Fiona, too!

Before the snow...

Our backyard is a swamp now because of all the melting snow! However, Mom took a bunch of pics the weekend before it got cold. Hopefully it'll dry up outside so we can play frisbee again!

As you can tell, it's already in sad shape! Ben likes to pick it up in the middle.



Mom got mad and put the frisbee in the time out zone.



Ben kept a good watch on it though. Just in case it fell.



Meanwhile, Ellie and I found a delicious stick to chew. I even shared! Mom couldn't believe it! I'm usually not very good at sharing.

When you're warmed up, you can chew on sticks!



And find frisbees under the snow!



And watch for squirrels!



And wait for the frisbee to be thrown!



Hmmm.... I think I'd rather go inside and nap with Mommy!

Weekend Fun

Mommy invited her friend Erica and her puppy, Otis, over on Saturday! We had one heck of a play date. Ellie and I both liked Otis BUNCHES. However, Ben was not very nice to him because he hasn't been neutered yet. So Ben got banished to his kennel.

After Otis sniffed me out, he decided it was ok to play chase.

Then we picked on Ellie. She wasn't fast enough to catch up!

She got bored and chewed sticks on her stump chair though.

We also played with the giant "ice cubes" that formed in our outside water bowl. I thought that was pretty neat! Mom wouldn't let me bring it inside though.

It's getting close to Christmas! Ben was the first one to get a card in the mail. It was from the vet :) We also got a card from Uncle Scott, Auntie Andria, Peanut & Rosco (look Auntie Andria, it's on the fridge!!)

Ben also got an early Christmas present from Mom. She was "SICK & TIRED" of all his barking at the neighbor dogs and bought him a citronella bark collar. It's amazing! Ben stopped barking in 20 seconds. And he doesn't even get tempted by the motley crue behind us.

I LOVE Peanut Butter

Mom loaned her camera out and hasn't gotten it back yet so she's still taking grainy pics with her phone...

I don't care though! She made us some kongs for today and let us clean out two Peanut Butter jars last night. It was hard work but someone's gotta do it!


Ben couldn't believe his eyes! He had to use the wall to hold on to the jar. He's not an experienced people food eater yet!


Lucky thing Jack has an extremely long tongue- he had to finish the parts I couldn't reach!

Saturday Fun

It doesn't matter how cold it is outside, when Mom takes out the hose I can't resist!


I HAVE to attack the water...


But who would have thought that Ben was "Mr. Water Killer"??


He was crazy!


He attacked the stream of water...


Had a big drink...

Cleaned his gums...

And then he got a BATH!! NA NAH NA NA!

Notice who is missing? Ellie and Jack are sissies! They hid in the farthest part of the yard where Mom couldn't reach them...
